Tutoring that begins with understanding your child.
Warm, flexible one-to-one tutoring in Templestowe and surrounds for primary and secondary students, including private clients, NDIS participants and homeschool families.
Hi, I’m Michelle.
Registered Teacher • Tutor • Counsellor
I’m a registered teacher, NDIS counsellor and experienced tutor who has spent more than 20 years helping children learn, grow and feel more confident in themselves. Through Templestowe Tutoring, I work with students who need help catching up, those ready for extension and enrichment, and those who simply learn best with a more personalised approach.
Every child learns differently. I take time to understand how each student thinks, what motivates them, and where they may be getting stuck – then adapt my approach to suit. Across literacy, mathematics, confidence, organisation and broader learning skills, my role is to help each child make meaningful progress and enjoy learning.

Kind words from families
What people are saying
Nothing means more to me than seeing a child rediscover confidence in learning. Here are a few words from some families I’ve worked with over the years.
20+ years’ experience
Helping children learn with confidence and curiosity.
Michelle tutored my granddaughter from Grade 3 until halfway through secondary school, when we moved away from Melbourne. She had become such an important part of our lives and made a huge difference to her confidence.
– Margaret
Michelle helped my son catch up in maths by patiently rebuilding the concepts he’d missed. He enjoyed his lessons with her and we saw her twice a week for over a year. We are so happy that she taught him how to ask better questions so that he can learn maths at school with his friends again.
– Josie
Michelle kept maths fun for our youngest while also supporting our older girls through high school when they had assignments and essays. She adapted every lesson to suit each child, and we couldn’t have asked for a better tutor.
